A family run business with a horticultural heritage of over 60 years
About Frosts Landscape Construction
Established in 1974, Frosts Landscape Construction Ltd is part of the family-owned group of companies. Since its inception, Frosts is very different in terms of its operations, but still at the heart of the business are the fundamental core values of quality, teamwork, safety and innovation underpinning our continued success.
Our main office in Woburn Sands, Milton Keynes is the base from which the company provides its wide range of specialist landscaping and maintenance services throughout the UK.
Frosts continue to be at the cutting edge of industry thinking and work with Main Contractors, Developers, and Architects in developing and installing some of the most prestigious landscaping projects in the UK.
Frosts Landscapes are very proud to have achieved the Equality Accredited Employment Award and will continue to strive to deliver equality and inclusion throughout our organisation. We are also registered on the National Equality Register.
We have forty years of experience working with main contractors on large complex sites with difficult logistics, restricted access, and in close proximity to other trades.
Our proven track record in construction and maintaining large projects; our experience in grounds and estate maintenance, interior landscaping, park restorations; and our involvement in the Olympics gives our clients the confidence in our abilities to deliver their projects.
Our total commitment to a project, involving the local community where appropriate, using recycled materials and minimising waste where possible and taking pride in delivering high quality landscapes is what our clients have come to expect.
An open and proactive approach to contract management and construction makes us a flexible and easy company to work with for the client, principal contractor and other trades. We are not a claim seeking contractor and work in a manner of trust and honour, developing long term relationships and repeat business.
Materials and Plant Stockists
The close relationship we have with our network of materials and plant stock suppliers is paramount so they know and understand what we expect in terms of quality for the schemes we work on. They have all been carefully vetted and comply with all health and safety requirements, meet our stringent quality and environmental standards, and understand the principles and ethics by which we work.
Frosts strive to be the best and is well regarded within the industry. The business has flourished over the years and is one of the top landscaping companies in the country. Our reputation for quality has been rewarded by many industry awards including over 40 BALI awards, with eight BALI Landscaping Awards being won in 2013, three of which were Principal awards.
Our Horticultural History
In 1946 Harvey Frost bought the original nursery on the present Woburn Sands site, and then with his sons Brian and Adrian, they opened the original garden shop and plant department in 1962. Frosts was one of the first garden centres in the UK and quickly became established as one of the leading garden centres.
A keen gardener, Brian Frost was the key driving force behind the success of the Frosts group of garden centres. He inherited his father's passion for growing plants and was eager to develop the nursery into the thriving garden centre it is today.
At the same time, Adrian Frost started to develop the landscape side of the business. Once again the family’s dedication to high standards proved successful and soon the Landscape Construction Company gained a fine reputation in a highly competitive field.
For over half a century the Frost family has been a significant force in the business community, and the Frosts name has become synonymous with quality and style in horticulture and commercial landscaping.
As the group moves through the 21st Century a third generation of Frosts are at the helm – Brian’s sons Jeremy and James, and Adrian’s son, Rupert, are all actively involved in ensuring that the business established by their grandfather continues to keep horticulture and high standards at the forefront of their success.
