Why we do what we do
Green spaces and landscapes matter to our clients and they matter to us. Everyone needs a green space or garden somewhere in their life. A green space, whether it’s a rooftop garden, playground or landscaped expanse, provides a place of inspiration, relaxation and motivation. Every green space can provide a little gasp or a massive “wow” every day, any time, whatever the weather, if you look carefully enough.
We like to look carefully at what our clients want; what they dream about; what fires them up when they set about creating a green space. And we like to get right to the heart and soul of that vision when we turn it into reality. Why? Because green spaces need heart and soul: that’s why people feel so good when they visit them. And helping our clients make their vision a reality, that’s truly what gets us out of bed in the morning!

Why we’re proud of what we do
As well as praise from our clients, we get recognition from other experts in industry bodies. We’re very proud of our 80 BALI awards, our first in 1978, and eight of them won in 2013, including three Principal Awards. In 2015, we won the Grand Prize for our garden at 3 Merchant Square. We have achieved the Equality Accredited Employment Award and are also registered on the National Equality Register, which means that you can be assured that equality and inclusion are important values to us.
2012, Britain’s Olympic year, was impressive on so many levels, and we were thrilled to be involved in the construction of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park pre games, as well as its subsequent transformation for five years after the end of the Games.
