Frosts Landscape Construction Ltd takes its obligation to Health, Safety, Quality and Environments issues seriously. The benefit of our membership to these groups means our processes and procedures are current and being improved from lessons learnt. Our Clients can have the confidence in our abilities, the quality of our work and our commitment to keeping all project staff safe not just our own. Frosts are also registered on the National Equality Register and continue to strive to deliver equality and inclusion throughout our organisation.     • Equal Opportunity Accreditation

      Accreditation followed a one day audit carried out by an independent assessor (E.A.S.) where our policies, procedures and working practices were checked. Several randomly selected employees were interviewed, including Landscape Operatives working on the Olympic Park Transformation works.

    • ISO 9001:2008 LRQA UKAS

      Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance are one of the leading certification bodies providing an independent, impartial, balanced view of how closely businesses are meeting their stated objectives and complying with the appropriate legislation. Typically, this is in the form of an assessment report including an executive summary tailored to the businesses precise set of circumstances, giving the business the means to continually improve their management systems.

    • ISO 14001:2004

      ISO 14001 is an internationally recognised certificate for evaluating how well an organisation manages its environmental responsibilities. It helps a company to maintain and improve its environmental management system, demonstrate conformance and ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations.

    • OHSAS 18001:2007

      OHSAS 18001 is an Internationalstandard enabling businesses to measure and demonstrate their commitment to Occupational Health and Safety. OHSAS helps to minimise risk to employees/etc; improve an existing OH&S management system and demonstrates diligence.

    • Achilles

      Achilles works to identify, qualify, evaluate, and monitor suppliers on behalf of major organisations worldwide. Their services for sustainable procurement help create opportunities for business and reduce risk in the supply chain.

    • CHAS

      The Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme is a well-respected scheme run jointly by a number of Local Authorities and other organisations across the UK. It is dedicated to completing health completing health and safety pre-qualification assessments to a nationally recognised and accepted threshold standard. CHAS is a founder member and past Chair of Safety Schemes in Procurement - Competence Forum or SSIP.

    • Construction Line

      Construction Line is the UK's largest register for pre-qualified contractors and consultants. It delivers its services to the public and private sector organisations alike. and is recommended by the OGC Common Minimum Standards and The Local Government Task Force. Construction Line prequalifies all of its suppliers to government standards, and maintains relationships with a range of industry, ePurchasing, and Government Partners to ensure that they remain relevant to procurement professionals within the construction industry

      SAFEcontractor is a leading health and safety pre-qualification assessment scheme, which is dedicated to promoting higher standards of competence and compliance through the provision of relevant industry specific and tailored health and safety assessments for all professions and sectors.

      ContractorPlus is a web enabled database that allows contractors to meet such demands and ensure total compliance to current health and safety legislation while gaining accreditation.

      • The British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI)

        Frosts is a founding member of the British Association of Landscape Industries. BALI is the UK’s trade association for companies undertaking both interior and exterior landscaping.

      • Horticultural Trades Association (HTA)

        Frosts have been a member of the Horticultural Trades Association since 1967. The HTA is a modern, leading edge trade association representing the UK garden industry. It provides a vital forum for identifying and dealing with key garden industry issues and opportunities, and represents the views of the industry to Government.

      • APL

        The Association of Professional Landscapers (APL) was founded in 1995 as a specialist national group within the Horticultural Trades Association (HTA) and now represents the UK’s best individual landscape professionals and their companies.

      • UK Green Building Council

        The UK Green Building Council’s mission is to radically improve the sustainability of the built environment, by transforming the way it is planned, designed, constructed, maintained and operated.
